Shahid removes his kissing scene from Chance Pe Dance
There was a smooching scene in Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza starrer Chance Pe Dance, however after Shahid’s repeated requests with director Ken Ghosh the scene has been removed.
A source says, “Yes, there was a kissing scene in the film along with a love-making scene. However Shahid thought that it wouldn’t be good for his image with the kids. He also felt it would put off people from coming to the cinema hall with their kids, and he did not want that to happen. So he spoke to Ken Ghosh (the director) and insisted the scene be removed from the film. Though Ken wasn’t very keen about the idea since the shot had taken a lot of effort, he finally understood Shahid’s point of view — even Ken loved the idea of the film not having an A certificate. The scene has been removed.”
When Ken was contacted to confirm the news, he said, “My film is for teenagers, for children and for families. It’s a wholesome entertainer with humour, emotional moments and lots of fun. It’s got great music and fantastic dancing — and it’s got a U certificate. Need I say more?”
It would be good to see a movie without kissing and lovemaking scenes after a long time.
Happy Birthday Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone turns 24 today on January 5th 2010. Deepika Padukone started her career as a successful model and then made her debut in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om opposite SRK.
Deepika won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and Ranbir’s heart in her very first year in Bollywood. Deepika worked along with Saif Ali Khan in 2009’s blockbuster hitLove Aaj Kal.
Deepika is currently shooting for Karthik Calling Karthik with Farhan Akhtar.
We wish you a very happy birthday Deepika and a great year ahead.
Kareena: Is it wrong to love more than one Khan at a time?
Kareena not only loves her beloved Saifoo Khan but is also in love with other three Khans – Aamir, SRK and Salman.
Kareena says, “2010 has a lot of promise. I sincerely wish the Midas touch continues. I’ll start the year with my idol, Shah Rukh Khan, with whom I’m travelling to Miami for RA 1. Then I’m going to be traipsing the globe with Saif in Agent Vinod. And, if Aamir keeps up his promise to me, the two of us will end up in a romantic film by the end ofthe year.’’
Then she asks, “Listen, is it wrong to love more than one Khan at a time? I’m guilty of just that. Shah Rukh and Gauri are my close friends. I love Saifu. And as for Aamir, well, what can I say? He’s the new Khan on my block.’’

Shah Rukh goes away from Aamir
Aamir Khan’s infamous dog Shah Rukh has left his home and Aamir is not associated with him anymore. Shah Rukh’s caretaker shifted out of Aamir’s house along with the dog.
A close friend of Aamir says,“Since the old caretaker is out, there was no point keeping the dog Shah Rukh. The dog had to go with the caretaker.”
Aamir Khan’s war with SRK started when he blogged about the dog last year, Aamir had written, “Shah Rukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?” and “Shah Rukh is smelling too much, I think he needs a bath.”
Aamir also apologized to SRK’s kids for hurting their sentiments, Aamir had said, “I have only apologized to Shah Rukh Khan’s kids because they may have felt bad about it.”
Well the dog is gone for good and SRK must be happy now. 
Akshay and Twinkle do their first photoshoot together
Twinkle Khanna had done quite a few films at the beginning of her career which anyway did not give any boost to her stardom. When she tied knots with Khiladi Akshay Kumar nine years ago, she chose to keep a low profile and dedicated herself to marriage, family and her career as an interior designer. She was also spotted at some fashion events cheering her hubby Akshay Kumar, but never in these nine years have Akshay and Deepika worked together in a professional capacity as husband and wife. You have been voted as the sexiest man alive. How does it feel?
There is nothing sexy about me. I have a long nose; big cheeks, long face, broad forehead and my legs are too thin. So I am anything but sexy. But I believe that handsome is as a handsome does. See, in my field you have to blank out all these things. I am an actor and the sole reason of my being is to act and give good performances. I try not to get carried away with such things.
Your towel-dropping scene in ‘Saawariya’ generated a huge controversy. So were you wearing anything under the towel?
No. I was absolutely naked. And fortunately or unfortunately the censor board edited it. Mr Bhansali had a concept that when a young man would fall inlove he would act in a certain way. And the towel dropping act was a guy’s private moment.
So did you drop the towel when you fell in love for the first time?
No. There is nothing like that or else I will have to drop the towel everyday. I fall in love everyday.
So, are you single?
See if I am not married it means that I am single. But if you ask me whether I am in a relationship or not then I feel that I am not a reality TV star and my personal life is something I don’t want to talk about. I am an actor and I would like if people would only talk about my films and my work.
But have you and Deepika broken up?
If I will say ‘yes’ to you, then tomorrow ten other people will ask me ten other odd questions. Thousand of stories will be generated and that will just create more misunderstanding. So I would like to stay clear of all this for now.

Kareena: Aamir and I look great together
Kareena Kapoor is basking in the glory of 3 Idiots, although her role was very limited in the movie.
Kareena says, “Who says I’ve nothing to do? I’m very much part of the main drama. Would the story move forward if you remove my character?”Everywhere I go, I am swamped by compliments for the role. The length of the role didn’t matter. I’m just glad to be part of a historic happening.”
Talking about her chemistry with Aamir she says, “Everyone in one voice thinks we look good together. I think Aamir and I make a fantastic pair. I’dlove to do another film with him immediately, this time I don’t want share him with other pivotal characters.”
“When Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir asked me to be part of their film, I jumped at it. I knew the film would be special because of Raju and Aamir, and I was right. As far as our cinema is concerned, Aamir is god.”

Shahrukh Khan makes his Twitter debut
King Khan SRK made his debut on social networking site Twitter yesterday and on his very first day at the microblogging site he had more than 11,000 followers.
SRK tweeted, “Being extremely shy, I never thought I would be here (on Twitter). But my friend Karan Johar insisted that I should learn to share my life.”
“Thanks everyone, this is really sweet…didn’t expect such a warm welcome. Love to you all.”
SRK shared his routine with his followers by regularly tweeting “kids and life calling.. watching tim burton’s 9 with them, last holiday…so up late…catch up later. sleep or be awake well.love to all(sic).”
He also tweeted about his huge abscence in the year 2009, “Injury has kept me away from making more films, will work my back off to be around more, the shoulder feels strong and so do I.”

Bipasha Basu & Celina Jaitley at the New Year Bash
This year Bollywood stars who shook a leg at various venues for the New Year bash included Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitley. Where Bipasha performed at the Sahara Star in Mumbai for a whopping amount of about Rs. 2 crores, Celina danced at the Country Club for a charge of about 60 lakhs. Joining Bipasha was starlet Anjana Sukhani, who performed in Mumbai for the first time. Where Bipasha rocked on some of her hit numbers from ‘Race’ and others, Celina too danced to popular numbers including Bipasha’s Beedi Jalayle and got the crowds to dance along with her. Rani Mukherjee wins V. Shantaram awards
There was a time when Rani Mukherjee was the reigning queen of Bollywood and any award function was incomplete without she bagging an award, but the scene is a bit different now and she has been missing critical acclaim for her performance since a long time. Even, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ could not do any magic to revive her sinking career. Nevertheless, she has bagged in the V Shantaram awards for best actress for ‘Dil Bole Haddipa’. Aishwarya Rai did not have a single release in 2009, but before you thought that her career in Bollywood had come to an end, the lady is up there to challenge you with three mega releases in 2010- ‘Action Replay’ opposite Akshay Kumar, ‘Raavan’ opposite hubby Abhishek Bachchan and last but not the least ‘Endhiran’ aka ‘Robot’ opposite Rajnikanth.
‘Endhiran’, produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Shankar, pairs South superstar Rajnikanth and Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai for the first time. Recently, Rajinikanth did a daring stunt sequence for the movie in Lonavala which was choreographed by stunt director Peter Heins. This powerful fight scene that was shot on a train and Endhiran’s lead lady, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also present during the shoots.
Kareena Kapoor celebrates New Year with sis Karisma
kareena is quite happy and satisfied with the way 2009 went by for her. Her love life was rocking as ever and so was her professional front. She feels especially proud of her performances in ‘Kurbaan’ and ‘3 Idiots’. “Both films are very precious to me. Kurbaan was intense, 3 Idiots was more fun. In 2010 I did films with all the Khans…. Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh (I had a song with him in Billu) and of course Saif.”
As the last section of the year was quite busy for her as it meant running around for the promotion of ‘3 Idiots’, she has taken a break and has flown
“I’ve been running around frantically promoting my film. And then I was ailing for a week. I decided I had to be well for the festive season. Christmas was a very special occasion for my mom and sister. But we never get to be together for the occasion. This time I was adamant. I made sure I took time off from work so that all of us girls could spend time together. My mom and I were here in Delhi to spend time with my sister and niece,” she says adding, “Karisma and I don’t get to spend that much time together. She has her home and husband in Delhi. My career takes me all over the place. Mom cribs we’re never together. This year-end reunion was something we had promised ourselves from long before.”
So appreciated was her chemistry with Aamir Khan, that the pair is in talks with two leading filmmakers including Mani Ratnam who is apparently all set to revive his Aamir-Kareena project Lajjo. AR Rahman and Gulzar have even recorded the songs.
And of course, she is also looking forward to ‘Ra 1′. Though she is not saying it yet, the buzz is that she has more or less signed on the dotted line for this Shah Rukh Khan starrer sci-fi super hero film which is being directed by Anubhav Sinha of ‘Dus’ fame.
