The buzz around b-town is that Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor have split despite both the actors keeping mum over it.

After a long time, Deepika spoke about Ranbir rubbishing the rumors that she ever said she would never work with him.

“Completely untrue. I would love to work with Ranbir. And Ranbir is a professional too. These are mere rumours and shouldn’t be entertained.”
Asking the question as why she has not signed any film opposite him, the OSO actress quips, “Ranbir and I have decided that till such time we aren’t offered a script that inspires us, we won’t work together. I am keen to work with him. So is he. We looked great in BACHNA AE HASEENO.”

I still wonder if Ranbir is now the ‘ex-factor’ in Deepika’s life!

Aishwarya Rai is scoring well as a dream dutiful Bachchan Bahu, proving that family comes first for one of the most sought after actresses in India.

According to a source close to Aishwarya, this was a commitment the couple had made to Abhishek’s ‘nani’ (maternal grandmother) a while ago. And despite the high fever and sore throat that she has been suffering from since a few days, Aishwarya made sure she was there to fulfil her promise.

“Aishwarya is much much better, but still not 100 percent (fine). But she’s my nani’s favourite so she made the trip too. Should be back to fighting fit… in a day or two,” Abhishek posted on social networking site Twitter.

The actor says his grandmother’s expression on seeing both of them was “priceless”.

“Made a surprise trip to Bhopal last night (Monday). Was my nani’s 80th birthday! Her expression was priceless. All her grandchildren flew in from all over. My sister, our cousins all meeting after so long. Now everyone partaking in an old Indian habit, all sitting together… Eating, drinking and catching up!

“My nani, of course, is back to being the matriarch! Making sure all her children are well fed and taken care of and doing what grandmoms do… feeding,” he added.

Sweet!

The new Coke-ad features Imran Khan

Imran Khan

Imran Khan

Imran Khan has stayed away from the endorsement segment for a very long time. Now, he will be seen in the new coca-cola advertisement as the new brand ambassador. Imran says, “This is actually the first and the only endorsement I have signed over a year and a half, since, I have joined the film industry. This was the only endorsement that I wanted to sign before they ever came to me.”

He continued saying, “I think Aamir has been endorsing Coke for 10 years now, and ever since I was a kid, I used to watch his ads. I have always considered Coca-Cola synonymous with refreshment and happiness. I am sure everyone will find the new Coca-Cola communication extremely engaging.” This new campaign will feature Kalki Koechlin, the actress of the movie Dev D. While talking about the concept of the ad, Imran said, “the entire concept of the film is about how Coke breaks the ice between two characters who might not have been together, if Coke was not there. What is really interesting in the ad is that we have used an imaginary bottle.”
