Salman the Gladiator Khan

As if Yuvvraaj was not enough to prove Salman Khan that he is no more saleable in Bollywood, he has decided to make a movie with swords, horses and palaces. Veer is directed by Anil Sharma… yeah, the same guy who made Hero. I know you have already decided to skip Veer hearing Anil Sharma’s name.

The most interesting part of this movie is that Salman Khan has himself written the story. Yeah, Katrina Kaif had gifted him the DVDs of Gladiator, 300 and Troy, so Sallu bhai decided to make use of it.
Are you asking that why Katrina is not in the movie? Well, who would want to work in an already declared flop movie? So Salman bhai decided to get two Katrina lookalikes – Zarine Khan and Liza Lazarus. You know how obsessed he is with lookalikes… remember Sneha Ullal, the Aishwarya lookalike? Hope Zarine and Liza don’t end up like her.

Amrita Rao Gorgeous at Daboo Party

Bollywood’s cutest girl, Amrita Rao, was at the launch party of Daboo Ratnani’s Bollywood calendar 2009. Amrita, who would next be seen in Bollywood movie Victory, was looking absolutely gorgeous in a blue outfit.

I don’t know how much of Amrita Rao we will see in a cricket centric movie, but I’m happy that at least we will see her on the big screen. The last time we saw her was in ‘Welcome to Sajjanpur’, but somehow I did not like her in that. Probably, I’m trying to find Vivah’s Amrita in every movie of her.
Anyways, I’m excited for Victory and Shortkut.

Katrina Kaif once again tagged as the sexiest Asian girl

Once again Bollywood beauty has topped the ratings for the sexiest Asian girl survey, this time done by the UK magazine ‘Eastern Eye’. The magazine had asked ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the sexiest Asian girl of them all?’ in its survey and Katrina Kaif emerged victorious in the response from the readers grabbing the leading position in the annual World’s Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women list once again, beating former beauty queens, models and established Bollywood actresses.

Following her are other eight Indian actresses in the top 10 including Priyanka Chopra, Freida Pinto, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. British television star Laila Rouass and Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat also mark their position in top 10.

Neha Dhupia goes topless to save environment

Sexy Neha Dhupia may be missing from limelight for quite sometime now, but that in no way means that the lady is sitting back. She is very much active and involved. This time she has decided to go bold and topless for the environment.

She has appeared in different avatars of the elements of nature in a calendar which is a part of a Go Green Initiative launched by Franchise India Holdings Ltd. Ace photographer Jatin Kampani has successfully brought out the sensuality of Neha.

Neetu Chandra Fears Dying a Virgin!

Neetu Chandra failed to make a mark in B-town with her films but she is sure trying hard to be the talk of the town. Apparently she is mostly keeping home these days trying to shed weight and look good.

A source reports that Neetu often sighs, “I hope I dont die a virgin.”

Well, a good way to put across the point that she is a virgin… But we’re obviously not going to fall for it!

Sweet SRK’s sugary woes!

SRK is busy working on his next home production Ra1 and trying hard to get back his six-pack abs! Although he ate very little but he wasn’t losing weight!

A source reports, “He just couldn’t understand why, so he went to a nutritionist, who got him to write down his daily intake and they found the answer.

He used to have almost 20 cups of coffee everyday, which meant twenty spoons of sugar. Now Shah Rukh has his coffee black and no sugar.”

Work stress makes Katrina unwell again!

Success doesn’t come easy. Katrina Kaif is working hard for it but at the expense of her health. She was quite unwell lately and when she got herself checked recently at a suburban hospital to discover a low haemoglobin count. But poor health doesnt keep Katrina from keeping her professional and personal committments.

A source reported, “On Sunday Katrina woke up unable to get out of bed. The worst blow to her frail energy level was the hectic wedding of Salman Khan’s close family-friend Krishan Narayan’s daughter which Katrina attended for two consecutive nights on Friday and Saturday for the sangeet and wedding.

Forgetting her delicate health, Katrina had simply let herself go, dancing and having a good time.

A friend explained, “It was a commitment she couldn’t wriggle out of. The bride’s father, an associate of politician Praful Patel, is a very close friend of Salman Khan. And Katrina who has always looked at Salman’s friends as her own, had to be there.”

The result of two consecutive nights of merry-making was a relapse. On Sunday Katrina had to undergo a series of complicated medical tests that went on the whole day

The friend continued, “Katrina’s haemoglobin count continues to plummet. The doctors are perplexed by this. They can’t figure out what is causing this abnormality in her blood. She has been prescribed complete bed rest.”

Poor Katrina… Perhaps Sallu Miyan should take a proactive step and take her off for a rejuvenating holiday!

Shahid has changed for good says Ken Ghosh

Ken Ghosh who directed Shahid Kapoor in his debut film Ishq Vishq Pyar Vyar and directed his forthcoming film Chance Pe Dance, says Shahid has changed for good.

Ken admits Shahid was working on Chance Pe Dance simultaneously with Kaminey and Dil Bole Hadippa and there would be huge problems with dates.

“I’d ask for three days. He would have only one day to spare. I’d naturally be upset. Then understandably, Shahid wanted time off. He couldn’t be seen on my set straight after shooting for one of the other two films. This naturally led to heated arguments. For me as a director it was okay to come on the sets without sleep. But Shahid had to catch up on his resting time. Or the dark circles would have shown on camera. And since Shahid is fair-complexioned those dark circles would be even more visible,” says Ken.

Talking about how Shahid has improved as an actor Ken says, “Shahid’s dancing in Chance Pe Dance is the film’s mainstay. But his performance is not just about dancing. Some of the things he has done in the dramatic scenes took me by surprise. Shahid has brought subtle expressions into scenes which I didn’t catch while shooting. Only during editing I realized what he had done.”

Looks like we need to watch out for Shahid’s Chance Pe Dance!
