Sometimes media over-reacts to certain things happening in and around the filmy world. The recent exaggeration was the Bachchan bahu episode. I’m sure you might be aware about her pregnancy stories but rumour-mongers never seem to have enough of her.

Grapevine has it that, Aishwarya is pregnant. This gossip started off after she was spotted with a baby bump during the promotion of her upcoming release Raavan with her husband Abhishek. The news is doing the rounds that the actress, who is known for her perfect figure, has put on lots of weight, especially in the abdomen.

However, the Bachchans have not announced the good news yet. They had earlier blasted a newspaper for falsely reporting that Aishwarya couldn’t conceive because of stomach tuberculosis.

Well, it looks like the news of ‘Aishwarya’s baby bump’ is just a rumour!

Sush and Dia at People Magazine Party

Recently the gorgeous Sushmita Sen and and the lovely Dia Mirza were spotted at the People Magazine party.

Sush looked stunning in this blue McQueen dress. Didn’t like the clutch though but the grace & the aura she exudes is what makes her the most beautiful women in the universe.

Aisha trailer out- A must watch

Sonam Kapoor plays the eponymous protagonist in Aisha, a film by Anil Kapoor Film Company. Abhay Deol plays Arjun, a confident Wharton graduate whom Aisha finds annoying and irritating.

Sonam plays the cupid for people. She loves matching couples up. The moment an eligible boy or an eligible girl catches her eye, ideas begin to pop up in Aisha’s imaginative head. But in playing a matchmaker, she forgets her own self.

Srk-Akhi share a light moment in mid-air

Who said two superstars can’t be friends??? All the rumours between Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar took a back seat when the two stars met up on a flight to London and bonded like thick buddies. They joked and laughed and later tweeted about their mid-air experience.

Akshay wrote: “I flew back to London to join my wife and son for our summer holidays and I met Shah Rukh Khan on my flight! It was nice to know Shah Rukh feels as grateful as I am for being a part of our industry and how lucky we are.”

Shahrukh, too, enjoyed bonding with Akshay. He tweeted: “I had Akshay Kumar for company on flight. Was wonderful to be with him after so long. Laughed for hours. We always do whenever we meet. Happiness to him.”

Shahrukh was flying to London to shoot for his home production Ra.One and also attend the premiere of Raavan.

“It’s amazing I managed to chat more with my work mates on a flight than I do in the entire year” he wrote.

Bollywood’s sweetest couple, Kajol and Ajay Devgan may soon land up in the middle of a box office clash. According to reports, their individual films will release around same time.

Ajay’s ‘Aakrosh’, directed by Priyadarshan, is releasing on October 1, while Kajol’s ‘Love You Maa’, a remake of Hollywood flick Stepmom, will also release the same week.

If this happens it would be one of the rare occasions in Bollywood when a husband and wife will compete with each other.

Salman Khan’s Dabangg faces a tough time

The monsoon rain during the weekend in Mumbai dampened the spirits of the shooting crew on the sets of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Dabangg in Film City.

On Friday evening, the crew was all ready to shoot a sequence in which a factory was to be set on fire. But their mission couldn’t be accomplished, thanks to the rain. The entire unit waited till late in the night for the rain to subside, but by the time it did, the set was soaked to its foundations. Setting it on fire was out of question.

So the dejected crew called for a pack-up and decided to shoot the fire sequence the next day.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan, after hogging the limelight during IIFA is now ready to head to Sri Lanka again to shoot for director Anees Bazmee’s film ‘Ready’ with Asin.

Wonder if Sallu bhai is aware of the boycott by south Indian film industry.

‘Aisha’ is very special and completely different

The movie Aisha is a very special, different and a very stylish flick, portraying the contemporary youth in a new, vibrant way. The Sonam-Abhay starrer is imbued with freshness.

Producer Rhea Kapoor (Sonam’s sister) and Sanjeev Bijli, the joint managing director of PVR Limited, are proud and thrilled for their fresh film ‘Aisha’.

The most amazing part about the film is that the average age of the cast and crew members are between 23 and 25. Inspired by Jane Austen’s Victorian gem ‘Emma’, the film is directed by Rajshri Ojha.

Aisha is all about friendships and new-age relationships. The story narrates Aisha, played by Sonam, who is head-strong yet feminine, and her gang of friends.

“The outfits in Aisha are beautiful and relatable” says Rhea. She has worn lots of lace and pretty, trendy outfits for the film. While the smart aleck Abhay Deol (Arjun Burman), an investment banker in the film, is a “clotheshorse”. His personal style is casual yet fun.

Can’t wait to watch this movie. It sounds so young and pure fun.

Aisha is set to release on August 6.

Thje super sexy Kareena Kapoor wants to be well-rounded again. Well, she has recovered from her ‘Size Zero’ frenzy I guess. The actress, who was quite healthy as a teenager, once again wants to get back those curves, which she shed during the making of ‘Tashan’.

The actress, who is shooting ‘Golmaal 3’ in Hyderabad, revealed that, “For once, things are the exact opposite for the two of us. Lolo (Karisma) is trying to lose her post natal fat; and I’m trying to put on a little weight.”

“I want to be perfectly rounded. I’m bored of being too thin. And I actually enjoy eating at a neighbourhood café,” Kareena said.

Bebo is also missing her family like hell. “God I’m missing Mumbai and I’m missing spending time with Lolo and my nephew,” she said.

Aishwarya Rai’s motherly side revealed!!

Aishwarya rai, is one actress noth only with a very pretty face, but a beautiful heart too. Her beauty is not just skin deep. She proved this during the shooting of her forth-coming flick ‘Raavan’.

Sources revealed that while shooting in the dense forests of Kerala, the cast had to be wet for hours at a stretch. While on the shoot, Ash suddenly found a small girl, a child artist in the film, who too was drenched from head to toe the entire day. But, unlike the adults who could cope up with the wet clothes et al, the little girl kept shivering.

Kindhearted Aish, immediately ordered a thick blanket to cover up the girl, until her shot was called for.

The little girl, who was more than relieved for this kind gesture, just couldn’t help admiring the superstar Ash, for such motherly attitude shown towards her. Even the entire cast and crew of the movie were quite pleasantly surprised to see Ash and her soft kind heart deep within.

Nana refuses to be a part of Raajneeti

After a tiff between Nana Patekar and his former friend Prakash Jha’s, Nana refuses to associate himself to Raajneeti any further.

On Sunday night, the entire cast of the film excluding Nana Patekar saw the film for the first time.

When asked about it, Prakash Jha admits that matters between the two have come to a head,
“When my assistant rang up to invite Nana for the Raajneeti screening on Sunday, Nana refused pointblank. He said he didn’t want anything to do with the film. He won’t attend any premiere or events. He won’t see the film at all. That’s what he said.”

Prakash has no intention of patching up with Nana.
He says, “Why should I ask him? I won’t call him or send him any message. It’s me who has reason to be upset with Nana’s behaviour, and not the other way around.”

About the screening of Raajneeti, Prakash says,
“Ironically, the youngsters are very happy with their own and each other’s performances. It’s the oldies who are upset.”
Nana is known to be a hot-headed man.

Hope things get well between the two.

Imran khan and his relationships

In a recent interview, Imran Khan opened his heart and spoke about his male and female co-stars.

He also spoke frankly about his relationship with his fiancée Avantika. Imran said, this relationship doesn’t matter to his fans as the Bollywood audience has accepted married stars like Srk, Aamir and Hrithik.

However when asked about his wedding plans, he said because of his busy schedual, wedding is not on the cards this year.

“Though Avantika and I haven’t locked in on a date as yet, but in all probability we’ll get married next year. See, I want to have the time in hand to enjoy my wedding and get involved in the whole preparation”.

Bips ad creates flutters

Bips ad for lotto, has heated up the cyber world completely. The actor is topless in this ad. The ad also features Vivek Oberoi. Shot in India, the ad was directed by Ken Nahoum and art direction by illustrator Tommy Kane.

However, Bipasha’s manager confirmed that it is indeed her only who has been featured in this ad.

“Bipasha had done this ad in 1999 when she was with Ford Modelling Agency in New York. It was an international assignment and was meant for the international market. I don’t know why such an old ad has surfaced now,” said Bipasha’s manager.

In terms of Indian standards, the ad is very bold and will surely be rejected by the audiences.

Ranbir feels uncomfortable with mom Neetu

Despite director Prakash Jha’s continous persistance, Ranbir refused to share thesilver screen with his mother Neetu Kapoor in the film Raajneeti. Ranbir confessed that he is not very comfortable sharing the screen space with his mom.

Now, the role eventually is being enacted by the new 30-year old aspiring actress named Nikhila Tirkha.

Interestingly, Jha was quite keen to zero on someone who totally resembled Ranbir and so, Neetu was the obvious choice. But due to Ranbir’s unknown inhibitions, he had to change his mind and go for Nikhila.

Tamil community Protest against Salman Khan

Members of Tamil community staged a protest on Sunday against bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan. He is due to visit the 11th IIFA awards ceremony in Colombo from June 3-5.

The Tamil film fraternity has also rejected the idea of an Indian film event in Srilanka. Their main problem with Salman Khan is that, they gave him a letter and he did not accept it.

Popular Tamil actors Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Ajith and Surya are also not taking part in IIFA and declined the idea of an Indian film event in IIFA.
